An independent guide. Not affiliated with the Government of Monaco, Visit Monaco or Société des Bains de Mer (SBM). We use “Monte Carlo” as the name of a place, the district around the Casino square. Names of events and venues belong to their owners and are used only to describe them accurately.

We do not cover gambling, and we never carry gambling advertising or affiliate links.

How we work

• Every fact that can go out of date, such as a date, a price, an opening time or a bus route, comes from the organiser, the operator or an official body. We link to that source on the page and show when we last checked it.
• If we cannot confirm something, we leave it out or mark it “to be confirmed”. We never guess a date.
• We write our own words from primary sources. We do not copy other publications.
• We do not publish AI-generated images. Any software help with drafting is checked line by line by a person against the source before publication.
• Photographs are our own or properly licensed and credited. Today every photograph comes from Wikimedia Commons under a free licence, credited where it appears and on the credits page.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and add a dated note at the foot of the page. Please tell us through the contact page.

How we make money

At the moment the site carries no advertising and makes no money. Any future booking links will appear only in a clearly labelled box, marked as sponsored, and never on news, safety or Princely family pages.
